The Original Milk

What is Z Milk?

Z Milk is the name for a very specific type of milk—milk that goes far beyond simple organic milk. Z Milk is known as “the original milk”, and its benefits are as unique as its origins. Here’s what you need to know about Z Milk:

  • It comes from Zebu (Bos Indicus) cattle, a breed that is thousands of years old.
  • True Z Milk comes from Zebu cattle that are raised with old world methods—which means they are fed grains from start to finish, they’re not vaccinated with chemicals, and the calves are reared naturally on the mother’s milk.
  • Z Milk has a protein structure that is different from regular or even organic milk. The protein structure of Z Milk more closely resembles breast milk than any other cow’s milk.

Our unique probiotic infused Z Milk products may be easier to digest, and more readily tolerated than milk from conventionally raised cow’s milk.

Beyond Organic uses Z Milk in all of our dairy products—in fact, we know of no other dairy operation in the country that is producing Z Milk the way we do. Learn more of these and other unique products at www.dygandm.mybeyondorganic.com/About_RequestInfo.aspx.

Perils of Sugar

Did you know that Sugar is a disease causing acid?

A great way to describe sugar is a dietary and/or a metabolic acid waste product of fermentation or the degeneration of matter. It is important to understand that the body, and even the brain runs on electrons NOT sugar. Sugar in all of its forms is a poisonous waste product. So the more you ingest from your diet the higher your risk for disease.

As per Dr. Robert  O. Young, author of The pH Miracle, here are several foods that should never be eaten.

There’s some positive news, however, from the 243rd National Meeting and Exposition of the American Chemical Society. Some hot spices—namely capsaicinoids—may support heart and vascular health.

Capsaicinoids are a family of substances responsible for the “heat” found in jalapeños, cayennes, habañeros and other chili peppers. Research from past studies suggested that spicy peppers can help support healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels as well as healthy clotting mechanisms in the body.

Studies show capsaicinoids from hot peppers promoted a healthy heart and reduced heart disease risk in two ways: by lowering cholesterol levels and increasing the breakdown and excretion of the cholesterol. Interestingly, capsaicinoids reduced levels of “bad” cholesterol, which deposits into the blood, but did not affect “good” cholesterol levels.

Additionally, capsaicinoids blocks the action of a gene tasked with making arteries contract and expand—which impacts the flow of blood to the heart and other organs. Another plus was it may also reduce the size of cholesterol deposits that already exist in blood vessels. That’s important because those deposits narrow arteries in ways that can lead to a heart attack or stroke. It can be a heart health plus to heat things up by enjoying capsaicinoids in your diet.
